We imported Orquidea Mor
from Mexico where as a two-year old, she had placed First in the
National Championship, Monterrey, Mexico. Her bloodlines are
exceptional! Her dam, Guia, won the 1997 Adult Mare, National
Championship, Mexico. Her sire, Zico, was a foundation stallion for
the champion breeder Cortijo Las Morerias, Mexico, and took many Gold
Medal awards in Portugal and in Mexico. Her grandsire, Nilo, was bred
and ridden by Manuel Tavares Veiga and featured several times in the
book "Veiga Horses" by Alberto Tavares Barreto. Orquidea's great
grandsire "Minuto" , another famous Veiga stallion, featured in the
book "Veiga Horses".
Orquidea's offspring can
be seen on our SOLD pages. She is the dam of many of our babies over
the past years.

Brazil.
She is an important mare in our breeding program.
She is the perfect broodmare – calm demeanor, good mother,
intermingles with the other horses, good ground manners.
She has a low-key personality and passes to her foals this
self-assurance. All of her
babies are big with beautiful heads, sturdy legs, good movement and
disposition.
NALIA OK is at our
North Alabama
farm and bred to our Alter Real stallion, “Exaustivo” with baby due in
